Founded in 2016, Odyssea is a dedicated non-profit organization with seventeen staff members, committed to empowering vulnerable youth and ensuring equal access to the job market. By offering free, tailored vocational and life-skills training, the organization equips its beneficiaries with the competitive edge needed to achieve self-reliance and personal development. Over the past seven years, Odyssea has effectively supported a diverse demographic, with sixty-five percent of its participants aged between seventeen and thirty-four. Additionally, through close collaboration with humanitarian partners, it has assisted nearly two thousand refugees and asylum seekers, making up forty-two percent of its total beneficiaries. As a strictly data-driven entity, Odyssea leverages custom digital tools and data analytics to monitor its impact, adapt to changes swiftly, and share evidence-based practices with sponsors, hiring companies, and the wider humanitarian ecosystem.

The organization operates holistically through three integrated operational areas. The Academy serves as an inclusive cultural hub where individuals acquire market-relevant hard skills through courses co-designed by experienced professionals, helping them transition from dependency to independence. Complementing this educational foundation, the Employability Department guides graduates and other vulnerable individuals through the job application process. To further bridge the gap between talented candidates and employers in Greece and beyond, Odyssea developed the Talent Platform, an innovative digital job-searching tool. Beyond employment and education, the organization actively addresses immediate community needs through its Relief Activities Department. This branch organizes crucial voluntary initiatives, including a Social Kitchen, a Mobile Medical Unit, and the direct distribution of in-kind aid to families in need. With an ISO 9001:2015 certification for software development and financing consulting, the company excels in product and process engineering, artificial intelligence, automation, and the management of complex business workflows. Operating from facilities in Lecce and Monteroni di Lecce, Advantech relies on a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of twenty professionals specializing in mechanical, management, and computer engineering. This lean yet robust structure enables the delivery of customized technological solutions and effective project management across local and international scopes. The company has a strong track record in public administration consulting, notably contributing to significant European cooperative initiatives. Through the ISACC project, funded by the Interreg Italy-Albania-Montenegro program, Advantech developed a web-oriented platform utilizing data analysis algorithms and process models to digitize cross-border customs procedures. Similarly, within the Interreg Greece-Italy TRUST project, the team designed advanced software systems to manage, optimize, and sponsor sustainable multimodal transport networks. Founded in Barcelona in 2014, CreaTIC Academy S.L. is an innovative micro-enterprise dedicated to empowering children as young as five to become proactive designers and creators of digital technology. Through engaging out-of-school programs, the academy teaches programming, educational robotics, and application development. By utilizing visual programming languages, CreaTIC bypasses complex syntax to focus on fostering problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and essential soft skills like teamwork and communication. The organization is also deeply committed to bridging the gender gap in technology by providing dedicated events, mentorship opportunities, and female role models to inspire young girls. Operating with a core team of two full-time staff members and up to nine part-time educators, CreaTIC reaches a broad audience. During the 2023-2024 academic year, the academy enrolled nearly 300 students in extensive courses across its own center and eleven collaborating schools, alongside another 300 participants in shorter workshops. Its impact is amplified through strong regional partnerships with civic centers, charitable associations, and cultural institutions. A notable collaboration with the Caixa Forum Barcelona art museum has allowed around 500 pupils annually to explore architecture through a Minecraft-based educational workshop since 2015. Furthermore, CreaTIC actively shapes the future of education by partnering with prominent universities, including the Universitat de Barcelona and IESE Business School, to train pre-service teachers in pedagogical innovation and student-centered methodologies. This academic involvement extends to a broader European level, with the academy developing specialized educational modules and contributing to international MOOCs for EU initiatives like the DoCENT and IA-ME Erasmus+ projects.

The Institute of Pedagogy at the Jagiellonian University, founded in 1364 and recognized as one of Poland's oldest and leading scientific institutions, stands as a premier center for educational research and practice. Set within a historic university that encompasses sixteen faculties, nearly four thousand academic staff, and over thirty-nine thousand students across various disciplines, the Institute explores education through diverse theoretical, philosophical, and practical paradigms. It maintains active partnerships with research institutions globally and continually adapts its programs to meet modern societal needs. The Institute offers specialized study programs in general pedagogy, early childhood and pre-school pedagogy, special pedagogy, and school pedagogy with pedagogical therapy. These comprehensive pathways, which include focused tracks such as re-socialization and social welfare pedagogy, are uniquely designed to equip students with full professional qualifications to work as educators, school pedagogues, and therapists supporting children with special educational needs. The curriculum is deeply rooted in the latest scientific research and increasingly integrates modern information technologies to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience. Beyond rigorous academics, the Institute fosters a vibrant community through three dedicated student research clubs specifically for re-socialization pedagogues, early childhood educators, and cultural animators. SMARTED SRL is an innovative start-up (under Law 221/2012) which was created as a spin-off of scientific research activities of its members in the field of Cognitive Science. It was born with the goal of developing innovative applications in order to support activities / needs of the socio-cognitive of people (such as play, learn, teach, support and maintain neuro-cognitive functions).

The company works closely with major universities and research centers, including the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the CNR and the Natural and Artificial Cognition Lab (NAC) of the University of Naples Federico II from which comes the cultural background and its scientific activities.

Although the company is newly established (13/03/2017), researchers who are part of the company have many years of experience in the development and management of scientific research projects and the production of scientific material. This experience has led to the development of interactive objects/prototypes such as simulations, Robots, Serious Games, Role Playing and interactive learning platforms.

SMARTED worked in many Erasmus+ projects. In all the projects described below the company is responsible of the development of the technological side of the project, working with the innovative application of Augmented Reality tools (Tangible User Interfaces - TUIs), development of Serious Games, or APP creation.

In addition, Smarted focuses its work also for inclusion. SM created an APP for Android that aims at improving the communications skills in people with special needs or multisensory disabilities using TUIs.
